Remedy Selection Assistance, and Consultation Methods
Website visitors often expect to see a list of homeopathic remedies we carry, or expect to find they can directly purchase homeopathic remedies for a specific health condition. One of the main reasons I do not list these holistic remedies for direct sale is that we carry such a large amount of stock, it is an impossible task.
The other is that simply, whilst we do have a few ‘stock’ items which we know work as they are, we do not mass-produce any of our homeopathy treatments. Every remedy made is specifically for your Pet, according to what we determine is needed by means of consultations and health history of the pet. However, we can and will supply you with homeopathic remedy singles in the potency of your choice if that is what you require. I do appreciate that some people have a little homeopathic knowledge and often require a one off remedy. All you have to do is email me at the address below with the name of the remedy, the potency and quick few lines describing your need and intended use of the remedy. If I feel I can treat the animal using combination remedies, I will make the suggestion and offer you the choice.
I ask for a complete history form to be filled out to get as much of the pet’s history as I can, prior to recommending or customizing your pet's homeopathic remedies. Quite often I can spot things that will get missed otherwise. From my experience some Behaviour issues are related to a health problem but without a lot of information such as the health histories we request, it isn’t always obvious to a Trainer / Behaviourist.
I pride myself on sending out remedies that work. In the past when we have put a list of homeopathic remedies up, people have ordered what they think they need. Often I have written to them, knowing what they are planning to order, and explain that if they tell me the problem so I might assist, they may be able to save time and money with my assistance on selecting the correct remedies. However, I have a reputation to consider as well as the health and well being of your Pet. No homeopathic remedies will ever leave me unless I feel confident they will work. Obviously changes do have to be made now and then; changes in dosing frequency or just simple changes based on the feedback which we expect everyone to give us within a week. As I know how each remedy works and how quickly, it becomes obvious to me when something is not right and we have to step in and help.
Chronic Cases
With Chronic conditions the treatment is not an overnight cure and it is like peeling the layers of an Onion! As we cure one issue, another one can crop up under the peeled layer, until we've removed all layers of your pets disordered health. This is just the body cleansing itself and healing. It’s normal and is nothing to worry about as long as you tell us what you observe. I rely heavily on the owner to keep in touch and let me know what they think, so observation of any animal is totally vital. We give advice on Diet if needed and suggest other Holistic Treatments if we feel they are essential to the health of your Pet.
What has come to light over the years in my experience is that Homeopathy is the last port of call. By the time you seek holistic assistance, the animal has had various allopathic (conventional medicine; suppressive drugs) treatments and we are expected to make it all go away instantly. Please bear in mind that if this is the case, the treatment and reversal of the layers you've added to the original problem could take months so you have to be in this for the long haul; be patient; and keep sending us your feedback regularly. If there is ever a need for allopathic drugs to be used, just tell us so we can do ‘damage control’ and support the animal’s vital organs amongst other things.
Never be discouraged if you don’t see instant results, bear with us and remember we are undoing all the ‘damage’ done by various drugs, vaccines, flea/worm treatments etc. and that has to take place before we can begin a full treatment programme. If you have to vaccinate (we don't recommend this kind of damage; and no pet with any health problem should ever be vaccinated until a health problem is resolved), just advise us and we will supply the treatment which will negate as much as possible of the side effects. Vaccine damage is now very common, as are allergies.
Every Client I work with, no matter where they are in the world, gets individual attention, follow up emails etc. until the issue is resolved to the best of our abilities. With allergies it is always useful for us to see a list of allergens; copies of blood/chem. Tests are very useful and we may suggest you get some testing done depending on the nature of your pet's problem. Just ask your Vet for copies and they should hand them over happily. Then scan and send results to us by email.
Remedy Costs
Remedy costs are in addition to your consultation fee. The cost of our remedies is £10.00 per 2oz bottle of combination treatment up to £17.50 per 2oz bottle for our more complex treatments. The majority of our remedies are made 'to order' so each animal will receive a personal mix to suit their specific requirements. We are not suppliers of any other products we may suggest during your consultation, for example: pet foods, dietary changes or supplementation.

We generally have a waiting list of around 4-6 weeks for new cases. ***If you feel your animal is in need of urgent help, please explain this to us and we will do our best to get you to the top of the list. This is particularly relevant to Rescue Dogs and Pups/kittens/foals etc. Before the damage becomes too great, contact us. In the long run this works out cheaper for you and the results are a lot quicker thus preventing any pain or suffering on the part of the animal we are helping.

I am prepared to take a brief phone call to get the gist of things and often it may be that your pet only requires one remedy and that is fine with me. Calls are accepted Tuesday-Thursday between 2.00pm and 7.00pm UK time on 07821 383854. Emergency issues with your animal must be handled by your own Vet unless you are a Client of mine and will have the necessary remedies on hand so I can assist you quickly and efficiently. For new callers, there is still a minimum 10.00 charge which goes to the Charity plus the cost of the remedy and p&p as normal. If the problem is such that I feel you need to see your own Vet, I will say so. I will not put your Pet at risk under any circumstances. I ask a lot of you as an owner but I also give a lot back to you and your Pet. However, If I consider, during the telephone consult that we can indeed help, you will be directed to the website to pay a proper Consultation Fee and get your Questionnaire.
It is important to me that you understand how and why I am so careful with how I assist people with homeopathy and remedies. I am not trying to extort money from you! I truly want the best treatment to work efficiently for your pet and that is my only motive for asking you to fill out a questionnaire and request consultations prior to using remedies. Bearing in mind at all times, that this money goes towards helping Rescue Dogs/Horses and other animals that need our help.
On-Hand Homeopathic Remedies: Preparing your First Aid Kit
There are a couple remedies you may wish to order just to have on hand for when they are most needed. Like the Acute Trauma - vital in any Homeopathy First Aid Kit as it covers so many accident and urgent things; Very useful before and after surgeries. Also our Anxiety remedy has, so far, 100% success rate and this is amazing for animals with a fear of sound: Thunder, heavy rain, wind, fireworks. Order these homeopathic remedies well in advance as we are usually pushed for time due to people leaving their orders to the last minute.
Most of the remedies are in a spray bottle for ease of use and to stop them becoming contaminated. Cats always get droppers as they don’t tolerate the sound of the spray usually. We do have a few exceptions, bless them. Because our Remedies are produced in a spray we can tell you which ones can be used orally and which topically, and when. Basically we will do our best to help you in all areas of understanding, to make the treatment less stressful on you and your Pet.
